I am ecstatic to have some of my recent illustrations displayed in the beautiful, perfect bound Notebook Magazine, issue 7. Find it on pages 50-53. :)
Steve Teeuwsen is the managing editor of the magazine and he is doing a fantastic thing to support and promote the Edmonton art scene and it's artists. The issue is chock-full of great artists in and around Edmonton, and I urge you to pick one up from Chapters... They are only $8. A steal of a deal. Or better yet - Subscribe for the year and fill your life with inspiration from Edmonton.

I was at ARTWALK this past weekend ladies and gentlemen, and let me tell you - there is no experience like it. I LOVED IT. It was a fantastic weekend, and we received immense support for the calendar, selling more than expected! If you haven't been to artwalk or just didn't make it out this year, mark it on your calendar for next year - I'll be there again for sure.
One of my pieces was selected to be displayed at the Artwalk FRINGE GALLERY - so you can check it out there from August 7 - 30. Thanks for supporting Organ & Tissue donation as well as myself for all of you who purchased my artwork! Can't thank you enough.

Created to take a stand against the greatest threat our planet has ever faced, Earth Hour uses the simple action of turning off the lights for one hour to deliver a powerful message about the need for action on global warming.
At 8pm on March 29, 2008 - millions of people in some of the world's major capital cities, including Copenhagen, Toronto, Chicago, Melbourne, Brisbane, Tel Aviv and Manila will unite and switch off for Earth Hour. vrse is excited to participate in this movement.

Thanks to everyone who sponsored and purchased a calendar in support of organ & tissue donation. We were ecstatic when we sold the last one and will be mailing a cheque to the University of Alberta Foundation on February 1st.
