position level: Intermediate Graphic Designer
type: Part-time (21hrs/week) Contract September 14 – December 14, 2010 with potential for permanent full-time.
salary: based on experienceEssentials:
• 2–3+ years of industry experience
• strong design skills and raw creative talent
• have a passion for typography, illustration, photography and culture, and knowledge of pre-press and printing standards
• have strong organizational and time management skills
• you MUST take pride in your work
• enjoy working as part of a team
• strong technical skills in a mac environment, and good working knowledge of Adobe CS5 (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)

LitFest New Identity
We are happy to welcome LitFest Edmonton’s Nonfiction Festival to our client list.
LitFest is a literary festival in Edmonton that celebrates nonfiction content, notable authors and avid readers. It is the only nonfiction festival in North America. It is an exclusive event where people can come together to discuss real issues and how our world connects through travel, food and wine, life stories, nature and politics.
LitFest came to us looking for a new look, a new website design and some new inspiration and we are thrilled to provide that for them.
LitFest has some big speakers lined up for this year’s festival (hint: Dr. David Suzuki). Be sure to get your tickets from Tix on the Square! LitFest takes place October 20 – 24, 2010
